Part-time Marketing and Communications Manager
Jeff’s Gym is a Personal training and small group fitness enterprise operating in Jacksonville, Florida and experiencing rapid growth. We are currently a young start-up with a staff of four and looking for a professional, who is passionate about physical fitness, to join our team as a Part-Time Marketing & Communications Manager.

Who You Are
You are comfortable in an exciting startup environment and working from home. You have an adept knowledge of social media, are able to present data, think creatively,, as well as support sales initiatives and client communications. You are an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for coordinating email and vendor communications, assisting with marketing operations, and distributing company-related information. Editing and writing company materials may play a huge role in your duties, depending on abilities and experience. Ultimately, you are responsible for clear communication of the company’s message across multiple channels.
What You’ll Do

Marketing Strategy: Assist with the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, attract potential clients, and promote our personal training services.

Content Creation: Create compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and printed materials.

Digital Marketing: Assist with the Management of our online presence by monitoring our website, social media accounts, and online advertising efforts. Research optimization of SEO, PPC, and SEM strategies to drive web traffic and generate leads.

Social Media Management: Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for our social media platforms. Build and engage with our online community to foster a loyal client base.

Email Marketing: Assist with the Development and execution of email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, inform clients about promotions, and provide valuable fitness tips and insights.

Public Relations: Cultivate relationships with local media outlets and fitness influencers to gain press coverage and endorsements.

Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using in house tools Planoly and Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

Provide administrative support to projects and operations as assigned, including answering calls, preparing presentations, and scheduling meetings
Qualifications

Professional background or Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, and/or Health Sciences

Passion for Health & Wellness and personal fitness preferred but not required; Personal Training Certifications a huge plus

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.

Proven proficiency in using various social media platforms (specifically Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) and social media aggregation software or a strong desire to learn

Working knowledge of Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar)

Proven skills in marketing communications, web content management, social media marketing, or public relations is a plus.

Outstanding communication (oral and written) skills, Strong organization skills and detail-oriented.

Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

Able to perform light physical activity: exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and sit for long periods
What You’ll Earn
The role is designed for independent contractors and is structured exclusively on a fee-based model, open to negotiation.
